In a move that it could be argued literally no one saw coming, it was announced today that the FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE trilogy is putting the pedal to the metal in Sonic Racing CrossWorlds!
SEGA released a short teaser video showcasing Cloud’s iconic Buster Sword, a falling feather straight from the one wing of Sephiroth, and Sonic’s favorite collectable, a gold ring. More details are promised soon.
What do we think about this? Obviously the marketing train has fully left the station for Final Fantasy VII Revelation, and this seems like a pretty fun way to keep hype up between now and the game’s release in April. It also begs the question: If Cloud and Tifa can race with Sonic, when are they coming to Fortnight? (It’s inevitable, right?)
