Marvelous USA shared a video today featuring a conversation with Hironobu Sakaguchi, creator of Final Fantasy and currently head of Mistwalker, and Katsuhisa Higuchi, director of Marvelous’s upcoming game, Eternal Anima.
In the talk, the two game creators reflect on their nearly 40 years working together, going as far back as Final Fantasy II on the original Famicom and includes Higuchi designing the combat system for Mistwalker’s Lost Odyssey.
The two then discuss aspects of Eternal Anima, such as its battle system that allows players to look into the future to foresee enemy actions.
