Fast Food Chain Wendy’s Announces WendyQuest: Legend of the Four Corner Stones, a JRPG for Steam

In other (read: bizarro) news, Wendy’s has announced a free JRPG for Steam, titled WendyQuest: Legend of the Four Corner Stones. It appears to be a traditional turn-based, pixel art JRPG with a story inspired by various assets of the fast food industry.

Evil mechanical monsters are invading the kingdom of Savoria, so Wendy must take up her spatulas and fight to free the people.

The game’s description on Steam claims WendyQuest is “an epic original adventure where you earn real food as you play.” What form this will take is not expanded upon. Digital coupons for Frosties and fries, perhaps?
