Atelier Karia Confirms Body Shape Customization Following Fan Survey

The developers behind Atelier Karia: The Night Kingdom & the Guide of Memories have revealed the results of a recent fan survey, confirming several new features coming to the game. With more than 38,000 responses submitted, the development team has decided to add body shape customization, new costumes, and a special short story.

Body Shape Customization Confirmed

One of the survey’s biggest announcements from the survey is adding a body shape change feature for Karia. When enabled, Karia’s body shape will change depending on how much she eats during snack time. Much like myself…

However, if you are not a fan, you can turn the feature off completely.

Also, if you don’t want body shape tied to snack time, you can let players lock in their preferred body shape. Lock it in and play the game your way!

New Costumes and a Special Short Story

Body shape customization isn’t the only addition to Atelier Karia. The development team has also confirmed that costumes selected through the fan survey will be added to the game. They haven’t announced which ones were chosen, but I’m sure they’ll update us later.

A special short story is also in development and tied to the survey results. They haven’t announced which story they chose, but I’m sure we’ll hear about it later.

Developers Will Answer Fan Questions

Alongside the new content, the development team plans to answer the three most popular questions submitted through the survey. They will share these answers in a future article on the game’s official X account. It’s great to see the Atelier team work with their fans to make this release something everyone can love. It has me even more hyped for the next entry.

With more than 38,000 responses, fans are clearly eager to share their opinions on Atelier Karia’s direction. The developers seem to see this as a positive outcome and plan to incorporate more community feedback as development continues.

Either way, I’m just excited for more content and more reasons to start my YEAR OF THE ATELIER…(You know I had to end it on this.)
